Electrical Fitter – Machinery Manufacturing

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: £35,000 – £43,000 DOE + Paid Overtime
Hours: 4-Day Week – Monday to Thursday

Are you an experienced Electrical Fitter looking to join a growing and established machinery manufacturer?

I’m supporting a respected business in Leeds that’s expanding its team after achieving record-breaking sales. With a healthy order book and secure long-term work, they’re now looking to add two experienced Electrical Fitters to their close-knit manufacturing team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and wiring electrical control panels to detailed specifications
• Confidently carrying out full machine wiring
• Performing fault finding and electrical diagnostics on machinery
• Working closely with the rest of the production team to ensure machines are built and commissioned to the highest standards

What you’ll bring:

• Solid experience as an Electrical Fitter or Electrical Engineer within machinery build, special purpose machinery, or manufacturing
• Strong skills in panel wiring, machine wiring, fault finding, and diagnostics
• Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• A proactive and practical approach, with good attention to detail
• Some exposure to software or PLCs would be useful, but is not essential
