Project Engineer

Position: Project Engineer – Machinery Manufacturing
Location: Lowestoft, Suffolk (Hybrid Working Available)
Pay: £40K - £45K pa, plus an Excellent Benefits Package

Are you a skilled Project Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in Machinery Manufacturing? This is your chance to join a dynamic engineering team, where you’ll work on the full lifecycle of projects, from concept to handover.

About the Role:

As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality solutions. You’ll be involved in every phase of the process, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of precision and functionality.  Key responsibilities will include:

• Design: Use your technical expertise in 2D and 3D CAD to create detailed technical drawings and models, and develop innovative machinery solutions.
• Application Engineering: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and apply engineering principles to create solutions that align with specifications and operational requirements.
• Project Management: Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, coordinating with the Head of Projects, Installation Manager, and Clients to ensure timelines and project quality standards are met.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably within Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
• A proven track record in a Project Engineer role within Machinery Manufacturing or a similar field.
• A solid understanding of project management principles.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
