Location: situated near Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: £46,000 to £52,000 per annum 
Working Hours: Days - Monday to Friday (Occasional Weekend Working)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance a top-rated manufacturer of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) based near Ipswich, Suffolk. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer looking to work with high-speed production and packaging machinery, where you’ll play a crucial part in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting production improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on high-speed production and packaging machinery, as well as associated process plant.
• Utilise PLC fault-finding skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues swiftly to minimise downtime.
• Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to support ongoing machine reliability.
• Support site-wide and production line improvement projects, driving efficiency and innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Competence in electrical fault-finding and PLC troubleshooting.
• Previous experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on minimising downtime.
• A proactive approach to planned maintenance and a commitment to supporting
